Tonight at a restaurant, Lucy ventured off for the restroom by herself, then quickly returned for me to go with her.
Upon going down the hall toward the restroom, which was lit with a single, moody bulb, I noted, “It is kind of scary.”
She said, “No, it’s not scary, it’s romantic. But I still don’t want to be down here by myself.”
